Semester 2 2009 Reflection/Review

1.
A medium- Is the canvas for whatever artwork is being created on.
Greenware- Is clay that has no been fired.
Craftsmanship- Is the effort and energy that is put into a creation.
Relief painting- Is a painting which is created for the purpous of relieving.
Weaving Loom- Is a frame machine used for intersecting and weaving two right angles.
Ceramic coil building- The process of building coils out of clay.
Warp Threads- Are twists or curves that have developed in threads of weaving.
Plagiarism- Is when work is copied by someone other than the origional creator for the purpous of personal gain.
Vanishing point- Is the point at which drawn lines come together in order to form the big picture.
Monotype- Is one kind of print at a time

2.One professional artist that inspires me is named Lou Como. My favorite peice of art he created is called "waterfall" I think. What inspires me is that it looks and feels very like it took alot of time and effort and It reminds me of the memories I've shared with him.

3.You should allways apply two or more coats to your ceramics with glazes.

4. When labeling your prints you should sighn the bottom right hand corner in pencil.

5.I believe my greatest sucess in Art this semester was all of the projects i spent time and effort on. I am proud of all of them.
